AMBROSE (Mayo, W.)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether he is aware that there is no Sunday delivery of letters at Achill, county Mayo, and that inconvenience to the inhabitants is caused thereby; and would he see that in future letters and papers are delivered on Sundays.
§ MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAINThe question of establishing a Sunday post to Achill, county Mayo, has been considered, but in view of the heavy deficit on the present service, the Postmaster General regrets that he would 1220 not be justified in sanctioning additional expense for the purpose of providing a Sunday service.
