THOMAS DEWARI beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether the result of the recent experiments with weight-carrying motor cars has been such as to encourage the Postmaster General to continue or extend their use for the conveyance of His Majesty's mails.
§ MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAINThe Postmaster General has had reports upon the recent trials of motor cars to which the hon. Member refers, but he has not come to a conclusion upon the question whether they can yet be used with advantage for the mail service.
