HC Deb 18 July 1901 vol 97 c819
MR. TULLY (Leitrim, S.)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether the statements about the shooting of the wounded by the Boers at Vlakfontein were made by any soldiers except members of the Yeomanry; whether these Yeomanry had been engaged in any previous battle; and if he can state where, and with what result.

MR. BRODRICK

I am not prepared to answer any further questions about the engagement at Vlakfontein until I have received and read General Dixon's Report.

MR. TULLY

Is this the first opportunity these Yeomen had of running away?

* MR. SPEAKER

Order, order!
