I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Department of Agriculture will devote any, and, if so, what, portion of the funds at its disposal to the discovery and development of the mineral resources of Ireland, and whether, with a view to obtaining accurate information on this subject, the necessary survey will be proceeded with.
