HC Deb 25 February 1901 vol 89 c1018
MR. ALFRED DAVIES (Carmarthen Boroughs)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he can state the attitude of the British Government towards the Netherlands Railway Company, whose line runs from Delagoa Bay to Pretoria, and more especially whether it is looked upon as an asset of the British nation.

MR. J. CHAMBERLAIN

The position of the Netherlands Railway Company is being considered by the Transvaal Concessions Commission, and no statement can be made until their report has been made and considered.
