§ SIR HOWARD VINCENT (Sheffield, Central)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War if, having regard to the order issued last week that no camp 300 allowances will be granted as heretofore for the Easter training of Volunteers, he will cause to be notified without delay the regulations it is proposed to substitute, in order that regiments and individuals may make arrangements without delay for conforming thereto as far as practicable.
§ * MR. BRODRICKThe military authorities do not consider that the advantage gained by the short Easter training of Volunteers is sufficient to justify the issue of camp allowances. The general scheme of camp arrangements for the year is being carefully considered, and every effort will be made to issue regulations as early as possible.
