§ MR. LUNDONI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if he can state what steps must be taken by the county and district councils in Ireland to enable them to put in operation the Provisional Order legalising direct labour on the roads on the 1st day of April next.
§ MR. WYNDHAMThe steps to be taken by county and district councils will be fully set forth in a circular letter to these bodies which is now in course of preparation, and will shortly be issued. A copy of this circular will be sent to the hon. Member.
