*SIR CHARLES DILKE (Gloucestershire, Forest of Dean)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether the 595 application by the authority of the Treasury of surpluses on certain grants for Army services to cover other grants for Army services in the year 1900–1901 includes the allocation of sums derived from the Clothing and other Votes to the purchase of field guns in Germany; and whether sanction will be sought next session for such application.
