§ DR. MACNAMARA (Camberwell, N.)I beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he will put down the Teachers' Tenure Bill as an early Order on Monday or Tuesday, with the view to ascertain whether or not it can be passed into law this session by common agreement.
§ MR. A. J. BALFOURI cannot give this Bill an early place on Monday or Tuesday. So far as my inquiries into the matter have gone, they lead me to the conclusion that it is a Bill which will excite a great deal more controversy than it is possible to deal with in the course of the present session.
