§ MR. KENNEDYI beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether he is aware that suitable premises can now be obtained for a post office at Navan, county Meath; and whether he will expedite the steps necessary to acquire the same before the opportunity is lost by those premises passing into other hands.
§ MR. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAINNegotiations are in progress for the purchase of a site for a new post office at Navan, but if the owner of the premises to which the hon. Member calls attention is prepared to give the Postmaster General reasonable time for inquiry, it may be practicable to acquire them.
