LORD STANLEYThis is a Committee appointed by the Secretary of State to advise him as to the best method in the future of obtaining remounts, and is not a Commission as suggested by the hon. Member; and it will be for the Secretary of State to decide whether all or any of the proceedings shall be made public. Meanwhile the proceedings are confidential.
§ MR. DALYCannot the noble Lord say how many witnesses have been examined from Ireland? There should 277 be no secrecy as to what part of Ireland they come from.
