HC Deb 30 April 1901 vol 93 c263
MR. BELL (Derby)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether his attention has been called to the dismissal of William Gurrier, of Ystalyfera, by his employer, Mr. J. Newton, of the Ystalyfera Iron and Tin Plate Works; whether he is aware that such dismissal is because the man refused to inform his employer whom he intended to vote for at the district council election, and what action he proposes to take in the matter.

*MR. RITCHIE

I have no information with regard to this matter, and it is not one which concerns my Department or in which I can take any action.
