Resolutions reported from the Committee:—

  1. 1. "That, in the case of the London United Tramways, Petition for Bill, the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with:—That the parties be permitted to proceed with their Bill, provided that the powers to construct Tramways Nos, 2, 2A, 3, 3A, 4, 4A, 5, 5A, 6, 6A, 7, 7A, 7B, 8, 16, 17, 18, and 18A be struck out of the Bill:—That the Committee on the Bill do report how far such Order has been complied with."
  2. 2. "That, in the case of the Rodgers' Patent Bill [Lords], the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with:—That the parties be permitted to proceed with their Bill."
  3. 3. "That, in the case of the London County Council (General Powers) Bill, Petition for additional Provision, the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with:—That the parties be permitted to introduce their additional Provision, if the Committee on the Bill think fit."
  4. 4. "That, in the case of the Dorking Gas Bill, Petition for additional Provision 180 the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with:—That the parties be permitted to introduce their additional Provision, if the Committee on the Bill think fit."
  5. 5. "That, in the case of the Stalybridge, Hyde, Mossley, and Dukinfield Tramways and Electricity Board Bill, Petition for dispensing with Standing Order 129 in the case of the Oldham, Ashton, and Hyde Electric Tramway Company' against the Bill, the said Standing Order ought not to be dispensed with."
