HC Deb 30 April 1901 vol 93 c256
MR. COURTENAY WARNER

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether accommodation or separation allowance will have to be provided for over 2,000 women and children belonging to the 1st Battalion Royal Garrison Regiment, which is going to Gibraltar, and is 650 strong.

LORD STANLEY

The first battalion is going to Malta. The second battalion, which is going to Gibraltar, has, according to the latest information, sixty-seven families, with 250 children at the most. There are thirty-five quarters available at Gibraltar for these families. The others will have separation allowance.
