HC Deb 30 April 1901 vol 93 c267
MR. JOHN DEWAR

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate whether the Congested Districts Board have yet considered the expediency of providing a grant for the construction of a road between Glenelg and Ardnitoul (Loch Duich Ferry), Inverness-shire; and, if so, will he state the decision arrived at.

*THE LORD ADvOCATE (Mr. A. GRAHAM MURRAY, Buteshire)

I am informed by the Congested Districts Board that no application has been received for the road referred to, and that any application should be made to them through the statutory road authority. If, however, the hon. Member refers to Ardnitoul path, I am informed that this has been put forward after two others by the local authority for construction out of the Congested Districts Board's grant, and will go on, if there is money enough, after 1 and 2 schemes are completed.
