I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is able to communicate to the House any information received from His Majesty's Consular officers in Arabia respecting the steps taken by the local authorities for the protection of British subjects travelling between Jeddah and the cities of Mecca and Medina during the present disturbed state of the Hedjaz.

His Majesty's Government have not recently received any reports showing an unusually disturbed state of the Hedjaz.
