§ DR. TANNER (Cork County, Mid)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the 932 Colonies if it has been found necessary to send out large war stores to Cape Coast Castle for the Ashanti war, and if there is any doubt as to whether Sir Frederick Hodgson will be able to hold out at Coomassie.
§ MR. J. CHAMBERLAINSir Frederick Hodgson has asked for certain additional supplies of ammunition and provisions, and they are being sent to Cape Coast. There is reason to hope that he will very shortly be relieved by the forces now on the way to Coomassie.
