I beg to ask Mr. Attorney General what is the number of the appeals from the colonies of Australasia, respectively, which have been heard by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council during the last seven years.

The numbers are as follows:—New South Wales, 66; Victoria, 20; Queensland, 12; Western Australia, 5; South Australia, 1; New Zealand, 12; and Tasmania, 1. The above appeals have been disposed of during the last seven years.
