§ MR. HOWELLI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether he will issue a circular letter to municipal corporations, county councils, boards of guardians, and other public bodies, and also to railway companies, banks, and insurance companies, urging them to afford facilities to their employees who are Volunteers to attend camp this year for fourteen days.
§ * MR. WYNDHAMIt is hoped that all employers will make arrangements to allow Volunteers in their service to be present during as many days as possible of the special month's training for which they have been asked to attend. But the Secretary of State thinks it bettor to defer any appeal to private employers until the arrangements made for Government employees can be announced. This will, I hope, be very soon.
