FLYNN (Cork, N.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that the tenantry on the Leahy Estate (in Chancery), situate near Liscarroll, county Cork, sent in their applications for purchase under the 40th Section of the Land Act, 1896, some three years ago; and whether he can state the cause of the delay in dealing with these applications, and whether steps will be taken to facilitate the sale of the holdings to the 1257 tenants under the section above mentioned.
