§ LORD EDWARD MANNERS (Leicestershire, Melton)I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether, having regard to the fact that neither the tunic nor blue serge working dress, as issued to line battalions and line recruits respectively, is issued to the Militia, he will give instructions that these articles of clothing be issued to such Militia battalions as are embodied.
§ * MR. WYNDHAMThe question of the Militia clothing has been thoroughly considered. The Militia have two suits of strong clothing, and this is considered sufficient for home service. Those regiments which have gone to South Africa are supplied with the same clothing as the line battalions.
