GILHOOLY (Cork County, W.)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether a guarantee has been given for the payment of expenses in connection with a telegraph station at Akahista, County Cork; and whether, seeing that a promise of the said station has been made, will he explain what is the cause of delay in connection with it.
§ *MR. HANBURYA guarantee has not been given for the establishment of a telegraph office at Akahista; and no promise of an office there has been made.
