HC Deb 16 March 1900 vol 80 c1072
MR. WEIR

I beg to ask the Lord Advocate if his attention has been called to the recommendations contained in the Forty-first Annual Report of the General Board of Commissioners in Lunacy for Scotland, to the effect that measures should be taken to give District Lunacy Boards permissive powers to provide accommodation for the poorer class of private patients; and will he say what action it is proposed to take in the matter.

*MR. A. GRAHAM MURRAY

The answer to the first paragraph of the question is in the affirmative. The Secretary for Scotland does not propose to take any action at present.
