§ MR. STEVENSONI beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he can now state the decision of Her Majesty's Government with regard to the advisability of holding a departmental or inter-departmental inquiry into the sanitary condition of the barracks, hospitals, and burial grounds at Malta, with the object of improving the buildings occupied by the Army and by Naval officers and others in that island.
§ MR. J. CHAMBERLAINThe consideration of this subject has not yet been concluded, but as at present advised Her Majesty's Government do not perceive that any departmental inquiry will be required.
