MCCRAE (Edinburgh, E.)I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War when the War Office will be able to announce the amount of the capitation grant to be given to Volunteer mounted infantry companies; whether permission will be given for companies of, say, fifty strong going into camp and receiving free transport and daily ration allowances; and whether such permission would preclude the mounted infantry attending their brigade or regimental camps in the same year.
