HC Deb 12 March 1900 vol 80 c582
MR. JOHN HUTTON (Yorkshire, Richmond)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether the first, second, and third battalions of the Yorkshire Regiment are now on foreign service; and, if so, whether it is the intention to at once embody the fourth battalion; and, if not, whether he will explain the reasons for not doing so.

MR. J. POWELL-WILLIAMS (for Mr. WYNDHAM)

The answer to the first question is in the affirmative. The whole of the Militia will be embodied about the 1st May.
