ARNOLD-FORSTER (Belfast, W.)I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether, in the event of the Queen sanctioning the raising of a regiment of Irish Guards, the Secretary of State will consider the advisability of forming such regiment, in the first case, from soldiers selected from the Irish battalions now serving in the field.
