JOHN ELLIS (Nottinghamshire, Rushcliffe)I beg to ask the Lord Advocate whether any applications have been made under Section 1 of the Private Legislation Procedure (Scotland) Act, 1899; what is their number and nature; whether the Chairmen of Committees of the two Houses have had occasion to take action under Section 2 of the same Act; and whether any action has been taken under Sections 4 and 5 as to the formation of extra Parliamentary or Parliamentary Panels; and in that case will he furnish the House with the names of such Commissioners.

Member until the end of the present session of Parliament, and no action in the matters dealt with in the question can be taken until then.
