HC Deb 29 June 1900 vol 85 c71
MR. DRAGE (Derby)

I beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for War whether any attempt has been made to ascertain the views of the Colonial and Indian Governments on the reorganisation of the military force of the Empire; and whether the Government will consider the desirability of adding to the Committee of the Council of Defence representatives of the great self-governing colonies and of India.

*MR. WYNDHAM

This is hardly a question to be answered by the War Office. It is rather one of policy, which should be addressed to the Leader of the House.
