§ MR. WILLIAM REDMONDI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland if his attention has been called to the condition of the water supply at New Quay, county Clare; and if he can state what steps have been taken in the matter by the Irish Local Government Board.
§ MR. G. W. BALFOURThe reply to the first paragraph is in the affirmative. The Local Government Board have requested the Rural District Council to obtain from the medical officer of health 917 a report as to the sufficiency and purity of the existing water supply at New Quay. The matter will continue to receive the attention of the Board.
