§ MR. CHANNINGI beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies 616 whether he will lay upon the Table of the House the Minutes of the late Ministry of Cape Colony as to the treatment of rebels in Cape Colony.
§ MR. J. CHAMBERLAINI do not think it would be desirable that these Papers should be laid upon the Table at present, but I am communicating with the present Cape Government on the subject.
