§ SIR FRANCIS POWELL (Wigan)I bog to ask the Vice President of the Committee of Council on Education whether 28 a statement will be laid upon the Table this session explaining the general effect of the draft Order in Council by which certain powers of the Charity Commissioners in regard to educational endowments in England are to be made exercisable by the Board of Education, and indicating the classes of questions which under that Order will have to be referred by governing bodies to the Charity Commissioners and to the Board of Education respectively.
