§ MR. MAURICE HEALYI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will arrange for an annual return of the number of new public-house licences granted and extinguished in each quarter sessions division in Ireland, showing in each case whether the new licence was granted in substitution for an existing licence.
§ MR. G. W. BALFOURI would refer the hon. Member to Table 60 in the volume of Judicial Statistics (Ireland) for 1899, recently presented to Parliament, the information in which may serve the purpose he has in view. If not, perhaps he will communicate with me further in the matter.
