HC Deb 20 July 1900 vol 86 c668
MR. DALY

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster General, whether he is aware that the letter box at Mr. Francis Lambe's, Greaghlone, Carrickmacross, county Monaghan, has not been visited by a postman for several days past; and, whether he can explain the reason of this, neglect, and if he will take steps that this state of things will not occur again in this thickly populated district.

MR. HANBURY

The Postmaster General regrets that, owing to a local misunderstanding, the letter box at Greaghlone was not cleared for some days recently. Direetions have been given for the box to be cleared regularly in future, and at a later hour than formerly.
