HC Deb 17 July 1900 vol 86 cc239-40
MR. BUCHANAN

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether any Supplementary Civil Service Estimates are to be introduced this session.

MR. HANBURY

Supplementary Estimates will be presented for Colonial Services (Ashanti); for a contribution to the Local Taxation (Ireland) Account in respect of Pauper Lunatics; for Civil Contingencies; and possibly for expenditure in connection with Private Bill Procedure in Scotland.

SIR HENRY FOWLER

What will be the business to-morrow?

MR. A. J. BALFOUR

As regards the business for to-morrow, we propose to take the Volunteers Bill as the first Order. I am afraid I cannot yet give any precise indication of the business for next week, except that the Indian Budget will be taken on Thursday of that week It will, perhaps, be convenient if I state that on Thursday next and for the remainder of the session public business will begin at a quarter past three instead of half-past three of the clock.
