§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether Her Majesty's Ambassador at St. Petersburg has yet been able to secure improved facilities for the discharge and storage of herrings at that port.

BRODRICKHer Majesty's Ambassador at St. Petersburg was informed by the Russian Government in September last that arrangements had been made for the erection of the buildings and execution of the works which were urgently needed for the discharge and storage of herrings at that port. No further complaints of defective accommodation have been received since that date.
