HC Deb 06 July 1900 vol 85 c797
MR. FLYNN

I beg to ask the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture for Ireland whether his attention has been called to the meeting of the Munster Dairy School and Agricultural Institute at Cork on the 2nd instant; and whether, in view of the general testimony as to the valuable results in respect to the dairying industry brought about by the instruction given in that school and by the employment of itinerant dairy instructors, and of the statement of the President, the Department of Agriculture will undertake to give equal encouragement to the dairying industry as to the creamery system.

THE VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR IRELAND (Mr. PLUNKETT,) Dublin Co., S.

Attention has been drawn to the report of the meeting held on 2nd instant in connection with the Munster Institute. The Department fully intends that in the development of the Institute every feature of its work which has been found of utility to the farming community, such as intinerant dairy instruction, will be continued. The Department will give due attention to all forms of the dairying industry.
