§ Motion made, and Question proposed, "That a Supplementary sum, not exceeding £3,000, be granted to Her Majesty to defray the charge which will conic in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1900, for the Department of Science and Art in respect of Science. Schools."
§ LORD HUGH CECILI desire to address a question in regard to this Vote to the Vice-President of the Council, and it would be a great convenience if he could be present. I do not know what is the regular course in this matter, but I am not aware that the Science and Art Department is in a different position now from what it was last year.
