FARRELL () Cavan, W.I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether' he can state the number' of tenants whose applications to purchase their farms on the Annaly (County Longford) estate were refused; whether he is aware that in 1894 a large number of tenants on this estate signed undertakings to purchase through the Land Commission on the 816 promise of the receiver that in two years the sales would be completed; and whether he will call for an inquiry into the conduct of the receiver, or can he indicate how these tenants can obtain redress.
