Act will be introduced to restore uniformity of treatment.
§ MR. ATKINSON (for Mr. G. W. BALFOUR)As the hon. Member is. already aware, the Irish Government have recommended a proposal of the Commissioners of National Education for a large scheme of reform in the system of primary education in Ireland, and the Treasury have accepted, generally, the financial portions of the scheme. The details of the scheme are still under discussion, and, pending the explanation of the new scheme as a whole, it is not considered desirable to enter into particulars of the changes contemplated.
