HC Deb 13 February 1900 vol 78 c1379
MR. ARTHUR O'CONNOR (Donegal, E.)

I beg to ask the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture for Ireland whether he yet is in a position to state what provision is to be made to recoup the teachers of national schools in Ireland and national education generally for the sum of £78,000 handed over to the new Board of Agriculture in Ireland last year.

THE VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR IRELAND (Mr. PLUNKETT,) Dublin County, S.

The necessary provision for this purpose will be made in the Estimate for Public Education, Ireland, for the coming financial year.
