WILLIAM REDMONDI beg to ask the Vice-President of the Agricultural Department for Ireland whether he is aware that the public bodies in county Clare have passed resolutions in favour of having the entire county included in the scheduled districts under the Congested Districts Board; and whether there is any intention of complying with this desire.
§ * MR. PLUNKETTIt is the fact that resolutions have been adopted by local bodies, of the nature mentioned in the first paragraph of the question. Legislation would be necessary, however, to give effect to these resolutions, and I cannot give any undertaking that the Government will introduce such legislation.
