§ GENERAL LAURIEI beg to ask the Civil Lord of the Admiralty, of which private notice has been given, what is the reason for the delay in the completion of the Carr Rocks Jetty at Pembroke Dockyard; whether any means can be adopted to expedite the work, as it is understood the facilities the jetty will afford will materially reduce the time required for completion of, as well as the cost of fitting out, vessels at Pembroke.
§ CAPTAIN PRETYMANThe Admiralty are so dissatisfied with the rate of progress at which this work is being executed by the contractors that special measures are being taken to deal with the situation.
