§ MR. T. M. HEALYI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether the teachers appointed before the 1st April, 1900, and who will be graded higher than their present classes according to the new system of grading, will get the pension rights of the grades to which they will be promoted by paying increased premiums.
§ * MR. WYNDHAMIt will not be possible for some time to say whether any changes will be needed in the Pension Rules owing to the new system of grading of National Teachers, but the rights of teachers who were in the service before 1st April, 1900, under the Pension Rules then in force, will be safeguarded.
