Resolved, That, towards making good the Supply granted to Her Majesty for *The Amendment which the hon. Member had placed on the Paper was:—"To move, That, in the opinion of the Committee, Courts of Enquiry should be held into the surrender of British troops during the war, and especially at Nicholson's Nek, Reddersburg, Sanna's Post, Roodeval, Lindley, and Dewetsdorp. the service of the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1901, the sum of £16,000,000 be granted out of the Consolidated Fund of the United Kingdom. —(Mr. Austen Chamberlain.)
