§ LIEUT.-COLONEL PRYCE-JONESI beg to ask the President of the Board of Agriculture if the restrictions with regard to swine and markets in the district of Weshpool have been withdrawn; if not, whether he can give any information as to the likelihood of an early relaxation of the present restrictions.
§ MR. RITCHIE (for MR. LONG)My right hon. friend desires me to say that the restrictions referred to have not yet been withdrawn. The improved position of this district as regards swine fever-leads him to hope that he may be before long in a position to relax them; although it is impossible to intimate beforehand the particular date when the restrictions can be withdrawn.
