§ COLONEL PRYCE-JONES (Montgomery Boroughs)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board, in view of the fact that there are four workhouses in the county of Montgomery 947 maintained at the public expense, and one of them is capable of housing all the inmates, whether he will make inquiries, and, if found practicable, take steps to reduce their number, thereby effecting a large annual saving to the ratepayers of that county.
