I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland if he will state how many school boards in Scotland have submitted to the Scotch Education Department during the year 1898 resolutions in favour of the establishment of technical schools, under the Technical Schools (Scotland) Act, 1887; will he state how many of these resolutions referred to day and how many to evening schools; and, whether any such resolutions were received from the Highland crofting counties; if so, how many?
