§ COLONEL DENNY (Kilmarnock Burghs)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade whether, seeing that there are employed in the Mercantile Marine of Great Britain and India at the present moment many thousands of 322 lascars, will he state whether any complaint or representation has been received from them as to insufficiency of accommodation provided for them on board ship?
