HC Deb 20 March 1899 vol 68 c1309
MR. DONAL SULLIVAN

On behalf of the honourable Member for Cork (Mr. Maurice Healy), I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury, as representing the Postmaster-General, whether he is aware that a mail tar leaves Cork for Blarney at 3.30 p.m., and could he explain why there is no parcels delivery by that car?

MR. HANBURY

No mail car now runs from Cork to Blarney at 3.30 p.m The afternoon mail from Cork to Blarney at that hour is sent by train, which does not stop at Blarney, but drops a bag containing letters only.
